The story of Ammerlaan Growers began in the late 1990s, when John Ammerlaan realised his dream of becoming a market gardener in Schipluiden. What began with traditional block peppers grew into a high-quality specialism in sweet and snack peppers. Today, we grow these colourful specialities with passion on almost 10 hectares, spread across three modern sites in the Westland region.

As a true family business, we combine a down-to-earth approach with continuous innovation. We invest heavily in sustainable techniques. Thanks to organic crop protection, we supply a healthy, natural product that has a minimal impact on the environment. With our own sorting and packing facilities in De Lier, we guarantee fresh-from-the-field quality. Together with our growing team and our sales partner Oxin Growers, we ensure that the whole of Europe can enjoy the tastiest, crispest peppers.
In-house packaging lines
To guarantee the freshness of our produce, we handle the packaging ourselves. At our growing facility in De Lier, we have three packaging lines for sweet peppers and two for snack peppers.
